I'm sure you won't have trouble finding it with a quick Google search. Like I mentioned before, my image gallery died, so they're not available on my site any more. I worked on Chapter 1 and Chapter 6 through to the end. Can I find a full translation of it anywhere? This is the story of the Zero's sisters and their adventures right after they were created by the flower. You may be able to still load the chapters that they posted on the site if you use the Wayback Machine and go back in time.! The official NA SQEX website used to be hosted at the URL you listed, but it's been dead for several years, I believe. The Collector's Edition came with the Prelude novel, translated by Brian Gray, Elija Smolko, and Jyun Takagi. The Western release of DOD3 came in a Standard Edition and Collector's Edition. The Japanese only DOD 10th Anniversary Box included the DOD3 game disc, the Prelude novel (written by Eishima Jun with original draft by Yoko Taro and supervision by Yoko Taro and Natori Sawako), Kaine's garb for Zero DLC, the DOD Chips Music soundtrack, and DOD History Films Blu-ray, DOD Visual Book (mostly postcards of illustrations from all three DOD games plus NieR), the DOD World Inside book, and the DOD1 Scenario Recording and Text Window Recording scripts. There was a book called "10th Anniversary Box" which contained quite a sum of various characters' stories. There are several posts that you can find here. I've also written extensively on the DOD1.3 novella series. Novellas are essentially short stories or chapters that almost entirely stand alone by themselves. Novellas are different from a "novel," however, which would be a full-length book. Just about all the "guide books" released for the games include character profiles, official and fan artwork, questionnaires, staff interviews, and several short stories or novellas. The DOD1.3 novella series was released in the DOD3 Complete Guide, which is exactly what it sounds like it is: the complete guide to the game. Or is it something like an "encyclopedia" to DOD3 with DOD1 novels written in the later chapters? Has this been translated anywhere? So, this is called a guide to DOD3, but it actually has novels taking place just before DOD1(although a bit altered).? I'm a little confused. This hasn't been translated, and you might only be able to find summaries and notes like the ones I did here. So, this the novelization of DOD3, which naturally also adds a bit more to the characters' background? Something akin to Long Story for NieR: Automata? Has this been translated whatsoever?īasically all the Story Side Novels are a retelling of the main story in the games with additional tid-bits that you can only get from the medium of a novel as opposed to a game. Hopefully I've added enough to be somewhat useful to you. First of all, u/4digitmen has given a nice answer to your questions, so I'm sorry if some of this is just a broken record.
